Art for open spaces
Jonathan Francis produces art for open spaces.
'My work is designed to be lived with, walked around, looked through. It is art for open spaces; gardens, parks, walkways. They are integral to their environment, not objects to be revered within a gallery.
'The work celebrates the symbiosis of nature and man. It examines the detail of the natural world, the wonder of the small, and places these abstracted images within sculptural frames of metal, concrete, wood, glass and plastic.'
Jonathan undertakes commissions for private individuals, corporations and public bodies. Each piece is individual and is designed and executed for the space in which it will be placed.
